Sigyn nodded once and gave him a small smile. “I am, thank you. Fandral comes to visit me sometimes, and I have made friends here on Midgard. I am not alone.” For a moment she had a strange impulse to confide in him, but of course that was not possible. However, from her brief time of talking with Phil Coulson, she had come to agree with her sister-self’s estimation of his character.
“You are well too, I hope?”
“I’m glad to hear you have visitors.” Coulson said, genuinely. “Being alone… it’s not fun. I’ve done it for a while and… and I’m just glad those days are over.” He smiled slightly.
“I am well, thank you. Better than I’ve been in a long time.”
“No, it isn’t,” she said with a small, rueful smile. “It is good to know you are well. You seem like a very interesting man, Agent Coulson. I am glad we have had a chance to talk.”
“I’m glad too. Thanks for coming to talk to me. You’ll stay in touch, right? And I mean it when I say that, if there’s anything you need, let me know.” He smiled, holding out his hand for her to shake.
